Dr. Bradford Elijah Buell, Sr. ( March 18, 1941 - December 27, 2014 )
Dr. Bradford Elijah Buell, Sr. 73 of Stovall, GA died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange, GA. Dr. Buell was born March 18, 1941 in Sacramento, CA; the son of Noble Elijah Buell and Mabel Heyne Buell. He was a retired veterinarian having served many years in Virginia. While serving in the U. S. Army during Vietnam Era he, was stationed in Washington D. C. and served as President Johnson’s veterinarian. While living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, he established Meriwether Vineyard and founded Blue Ridge Barber Shoppers. After his retirement, Dr. Buell lived with his wife in a small community of Stovall. He was a member of the Odessadale United Methodist Church and attended the New Covenant Baptist Church regularly. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Bradford Elijah Buell, Jr. a graduate of LaGrange Academy Class of 1988 and George Mason University in Virginia and his sister Sandra Albertson. He is survived by his wife Janell Harman Buell of Stovall; daughter Bonnie Buell and her husband Bruno Cardot of Atlanta; daughter-in-law: Kelly Buell of Cataula; sister Cynthia Seymour of Etowah, NC; grandchildren: Bryant Elijah Buell, Sydney Morgan Buell, Charles Andre Cardot and Louis Turner Cardot. Memorial services for Dr. Buell will be 3:00 pm on January 12th at the Odessadale United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends 45 minutes prior to the service.
